Why am I seeing traffic from NotFoundBot?

NotFoundBot will periodically make HTTP requests to pages on your site to ensure any URLs in our index are not returning 404s.

This helps NotFoundBot to only recommend and auto-redirect to URLs that are still valid even if they appear in your sitemap.

Any requests you see from NotFoundBot will show a User-Agent of:

NotFoundBot (+https://notfoundbot.com/user-agent)
